All photos were taken on the way from Lhasa to the basecamp of Mount Everest. All sort of things can happen to a traveller in such places. What you'll miss the most is the oxygene and a hot shower. However, rewards for accepting the challenge can be really outstanding and beyond description.

For instance after running away from Everest and Rongbok monastery at 5000m where i couldn't sleep and got scared for my health i went down to the first small village and took this nice short video of a drunken "Hotel" owner. And here's the close up of Mount Everest.
