Got Bandwidth?

Bandwidth donations needed from companies/ISPs:
Libra Radio is currently not a profitable venture, as such we heavily rely on bandwidth donations to serve our listeners. It is very hard to survive in this internet radio space these days, and every bit of help counts. So if you are in a position to help and you like what we do here, then please do help!

If you will provide us with some resources, then you or your company will be listed in our Sponsors page as well as on the air as a courtesy to you.

We are always in need of bandwidth that is good for global users or European users (for majority of Europe, not specific countries).

If interested, here are a few basic requirements:

The bare minimum amount of bandwidth we ask to reserve for our relays is 3mbits/sec. This would fit about 25users @128k with some overhead
The bandwidth has to be on a server that is up 24/7.

Need to be a fan of Libra Radio

Technically to make it work, one only needs to add a relay server. All relays utilize Shoutcast technology. It's free server software available for most platforms (get it here). Once everything is agreed upon, your IP will be reserved on our end so you can relay. The whole thing can be arranged in minutes, really very simple.

There are no commitments necessary to make. You can try this for a few weeks or a month if you aren't sure how things will go with time.

Note: Usually this deal applies only to ISPs (Internet Service providers) or other big companies due to the large amounts of bandwidth involved. Please do not send us inquiries if you are an individual on a home/school connection, or if your business pays by a fixed amount of GB/month.
