What is Libra Radio?
Libra Radio is an all volunteer, grassroots, labor-of-love webcasting radio station. We broadcast on the Internet 24 hours/day, 365 days/year from a little flat in Maribor, Slovenia. This should be a long term try. Sooner or later we''ll attract a decent number of listeners with a strange disease called "gypsyness" and let me guess: there will be a big portion of grown-up people who care about life on the planet. Once addicted, Libra Radio will provide them their daily dose of medicine needed to support addiction.
Is this a real radio station?
Well we certainly aren't a "professional" radio
station. We're down-home, creative, personal, artistic,
honest, flawed, human, and real. We don't take ourselves too seriously and
we hope listeners don't
either. We try to be humorous and laugh at ourselves. Also when we sometimes
find us too pathetic.
We support things like worldwide peace and tolerance, free-speech without
fear, and simple living
with minimal focus on consumerism. We're real people who are trying to live
a life with no hate with a
smile on the face.We don't have a professionally
polished webpage, flashy banner ads, overblown self-
promotion and lots of glitz. If you came here because you want to connect
with down-to-earth people

Who listens to this?
Our listeners tend to be adult music aficionados and music buyers. Those who tune-in regularly are transformed into "addicted" Libra Radio listeners and become part of the Libra Radio family. They are sensitive, passionate, mostly over 30 years of age folks with a great interest of researching among different styles of music. Libra Radio has been giving them quite good selection of music.
What kind of music is this?
Hard to explain. It is the gypsy music which is the base of our music taste. Wild passion on one and earthly sadness at the other side of the rainbow. And art should also be noticeable. Now, since every music style has got some of it, we really don't care what is it if it sounds really good.

These great paintings were done by this girl on the photo, Karolina is her name. This was her generous contribution to Libra Radio. She is a school teacher, multitalented, beautiful personality, always modest, sometimes very shy, a hopeless romantic. You can write to her. Thank you, Karolina!
Who are your DJ's?
There is only one DJ among these Thai soccer players and you can easily find him on these photos. Not the fastest one anymore, however still content to be at least the tallest one among them. When he's not available all the job is done by mr. Randomplay who's occasional silly behaviour might create some very stupid things. Our original, now jobless human DJ doesn't go live with his voice, however this can be changed at any time. Especially when he gets overloaded with beer.
